Setting Skiing Objectives

Different moves in different situations... create different outcomes!

So before you can assess whether your ski technique is effective, you need to take into account the terrain and conditions in front of you... then choose your target. You'll need to determine a specific skiing objective or goal for that pitch based on your desired speed, turn shape, level of ski performance etc.

Try to make this objective measurable so you can verify whether you achieved it or not. If it was easy, great, narrow your target by adding some complexity. You can add more specific parameters, increase the speed, terrain or try it in more challenging conditions... or choose an entirely new objective.

Conversely, if you failed to meet the objective, start diagnosing your symptoms

Every time you attempt a specific objective, reflect back on your run to see if you can identify any symptoms. You can then use the diagnostics tool to help determine possible causes.
